Two new species from southern China, Russula albolutea and R. subpunicea, were described illustrated. is recognized by a yellowish white pileus with long striations at the margin, stipe tinge, globose to broadly ellipsoid basidiospores, hymenial cystidia that are mainly clavate apically often obtuse turn mauve in sulfovanillin, suprapellis consisting of chains short inflated cells attenuated terminal cells. subpunicea characterized pinkish dark pink basidiospores warts spines sometimes joined form reticulum, clavate, composed cells, pileocystidia reddish sulfovanillin. In this study, we respectively performed phylogenetic analysis based on ITS sequence nrLSU-RPB2-mtSSU dataset. By combining detailed morphological features multigene evidence, assigned taxa subsect.
